Good Facility and Friendly Environment at Brooks School

This academy was founded in 1926. School was named for well-known preacher resident of North Andover named as clergyman Phillips Brooks. Firstly it has only 14 students when it was opened. They much emphasized on individual attention and a close relationship between faculty members and students. Now they have 345 students (160 girls and 185 boys). These number shows that how much popular it is among students. It is now under construction including construction of a new library, renovation of the classroom building and the addition of a technology center. Approximately 255 students take financial aid.

They are expanding its programs like student exchange program which includes Kenya and South Africa, Hungary, Scotland and some times Rome. Average size of a class is 12 and courses offered are 135. They won so many awards in sports like 10 times champion of New England championship, interscholastic championship etc. They have facilities of 11 playing field, 8 tennis court, 10 squash court, 1 hockey rink, basketball courts, 1 fitness center and 1 wrestling room. Firstly it was boy’s school but it begun co-ed in 1979. The percentage of boys is 57% and of girls is 43%. They motivate students for work in favorable as well as unfavorable environment.

The courses they offered are English, mathematics, foreign language, science and some other programs are familiarity with the religious, moral, and ethical base of western society through courses in theology, philosophy and ethics. They also focus on some extra curricular activity such as drama, art or music and develop skills like sound study skills and problem solving skills. They also provide opportunity of placement for efficient student. They also provides facilities of summer programs which includes swimming in the pool, archery, writing music on computer, improving their soccer dribble, reinforcing writing skills and meeting with friends at camp.

Every parent has one dream in their life that their child will become the most successful person in the country. I think that this academy have all capability to fulfill their dream. They have excellent facility and friendly environment, Students can grow physically as well as mentally. They provide wonderful placement opportunity in reputed colleges. They provides student exchange program so one have opportunity to study abroad like in France, china, Spain, or Italy. Every year this academy is selected among the best school of state. One can also apply for financial aid so I think that this academy is best for admission.
