Oakcrest School was opened in September 15; 1976.in Washington at District of Columbia It is an independent college preparatory school only for girls from grade six to twelfth. The mission of the school is to educate girls. They teach the students with a common vision of education. it is need of society. The school believes that best education develops whole personality of person. The excellent education is composition of academic excellence and personal character development. College has a group of professional educators. The teachers not only teach the students but also educate them to become social.

School has two divisions that are Middle school and Upper school. The college s inspired by teaching of Catholic Church and the spirituality of Opus Dei.the teachers in the school develops the intellectual quality, character, and faith and leader ship potential through out the life. They provide the Veritas Award for those students who are taking admission in ninth grade. The teachers are very supportive and caring by nature. They have a deep and broad knowledge in their subjects. The students acquire the solid foundation in academics and in each subject.

They encourage them to think independently. Faculties teach the learners to develop effective study and communication skills and to learn to take the risks. They have a rigorous academic curriculum that challenges the students to think about global society independently. In the indoor class room teachers provides the opportunity for analytical and critical thinking, class discussions, and problem solving attitude. College offers the advisory programs for their students. There is diversity of students and teacher’s .they both shares their personal as well as their academics experiences. Learners are encouraged for the life long friendship with each other.
