Dream School of Girls

The Hockaday School is the girls’ school which was started in 1913. In the first year there were only 10 students in the school and in 2007-2008 there were 1,041 students and now it is also the dream of thousands girl students. The campus of the school is in the 100-acre which is situated at the residential area of North West Dallas, Texas. There is the regulated school uniform in the school the color of the uniform are dark green and white. The school has shown its excellence in academics, games, and in out door activities. The student has also won several prizes at the state and national level.

Hockaday offers a unique academic program. The school gives the pleasant environment to learning to their students. There are three level in the Hockaday lower level, middle level and upper level. The students are being treated according to their level. There are the students from the different countries and shares the wonderful experience with each other. The student learns self-discipline, leadership qualities, ethics, moral and cultural values during the academic program.

The school is the non profit corporation. The school raises the fund for the operation and development of the college. It raises the fund through alumni’s, parents of the students, and business houses and from other sources. One who donate for the school get two tax benefit 1- no capital gain tax is imposed on the long term appreciated portion of gift, and 2- and the donor also get benefit of charitable deduction.

Hockaday School is serving its students through the long period of time. This is the girls’ boarding school which is preparing them to take the challenges of life. The students of this school has shown there excellence in many areas like games and in out door activities. The student comes here to read from around the world and share there experience with each other and learn different cultures. Students are checked individually and progress in the guidance of a teacher. This is because this school is the dream of many girls. The students also learn there ethics and spirituality. This helps them to be the responsible citizen.
