Indian Springs is a boarding school with a history of about 55 years. Founded in 1952 this school provides quality of education to their students. The campus is located in a beautiful location and an area of about 350 acres surrounded by southwestern hills of Appalachian Mountains. The environment of school is very unique and careful. The rooms in the hostel are comfortable and have all the facilities for students living there.

Their teaching method is divided in four important steps that are discussing, doing, composing and discovering. The staff of Indian Spring is highly trained and proficient in their field. They work on the motto of “Learning through Living”. One key feature of this school is student government led by the student mayor. This teaches students the lesson of self-governance with the support of the faculty. Students also learn the lessons of democracy through relevant discussions on this topic. Teachers at Indian Spring interact with students outside classrooms also. The main goal of teachers at Indian Spring is to help students in encouraging their curiosity, resourcefulness, diligence and developing their understanding. Teachers also help in organizing other creative activities such as afternoon monitoring, running evening study halls and weekly recreational activities. They also provide summer programs from June 4 to July 13. Students can take the benefit of many creative activities in summer programs.

Fees for the day students are $16,200 that covers tuition fees and lunch. Full boarding students have to pay around $30,200. Many payment plans and financial aid are also available. Scholarships are also granted to students. Tuition fee for a single class at the summer program is $175.

In my point of view this school is very helpful in building future of students by providing them a quality of education and personality development activities. Their staff is very well dedicated to their work. The teachers at Indian Spring have a good relationship with their students and this improves the belief of students in school and morals of school. The key feature of school that is student’s government is a very beneficial step for students. They also provide several summer programs with nominal fees. Their boarding school fee is somewhat higher but it looks reasonable. They also grant scholarships to bright students.
