Eagle Hill School (EHS) was founded in 1975 with objective for teaching those students who have been suffering from learning disorder. It is located in Greenwich, Connecticut in 15 acres of land. It helps them grow self-confidence and thus each child sees themselves as a competitor to normal students.

This program helps them to teach the methods so that they can learn more. It also helps children to develop academic skills. This program is of short duration. Each child is examined carefully and its particular nature of learning disability is discovered and an individualized education program is developed for him. Eagle Hill has low student to teacher ratio.

The students participate in many activities other than academics programs. They take part in athletics to enhance their physical fitness, develop skills, and help them develop life-long interest in sports. Student community and council service programs provide opportunities for leadership and service. The child develops problem-solving abilities and become good decision makers.

Many children suffer from dyslexia or learning disorder. They find themselves helpless in learning. They try a lot to learn things but they are not able to remember or recover things which they have learnt. They have to study more in comparison to normal children. Sometimes parents think that their child is not concentrating on its study that’s why he’s getting lower grades than others. They force their children more and more for studying hard but it doesn’t work. The learning disability is found in many students. But if they are given proper treatment they can also score normal as other students. Eagle Hill is dedicated to treatment of these children’s with learning disabilities.
